We are proudly part of Laing Properties Ltd, a family owned Canterbury Building Relocation business which has been involved with the relocation of in excess of 2000 buildings over the past 20 years.

Laing Homes have been operating since 2001, having built and supplied over 220 transportable buildings to various South Island clients.

Our innovative building designs meet or exceed all requirements of the NZ Building Code, the use of engineered timber wood products together with the MAXIM building system, comprising of 36mm solid wall panels and 25mm solid ceiling panels measuring up to 7.3 meters x 2.45 meters, have provided tangible advantages to many clients.

The MAXIM building system provides less joining than conventional timber framed and plasterboard buildings. Owners get the advantage of smooth, strong walls and less internal cracking, no gib popping and greater impact resistance and therefore are more durable.Laing Homes are not only built solid and strong, which you would expect, but we add something a lot of building companies have forgotten about: Quality!

All our transportable homes are built onsite within a controlled environment by experienced qualified builders.

Although we have a wide range of standard plans we pride ourselves on developing innovative variations.
